Pay rate :24.00 to 25 per hour.

Full time minimum 30 hours per week

We’re on the lookout for three reliable, hard-working cleaners to join our team for a range of commercial and industrial cleaning assignments across Auckland. You’ll be working on sites like offices, warehouses, construction projects, and public facilities — helping keep spaces clean, safe, and well maintained.

Tasks and responsibilities:

·         Stripping wax from floors, re-waxing and polishing floors.

·         Carpet cleaning by operating relevant Machines.

·         Blade window cleaning.

·         Operating industrial vacuum cleaners to clean floors, work areas and machines.

·         Cleaning Toilets and disinfecting laundry and bathroom fixtures, replenishing supplies and reporting defective plumbing fixtures.

·         Cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings.

·         Vacuuming carpets, Mopping Floor, curtains and upholstered furniture, wiping tables and benches using colour coded clothes.

·         Removing rubbish and recyclable material, and emptying containers, bins and trays.

·         Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.

·         Cooperate with the rest of the staff and follow all health and safety regulations.

PREREQUISITES:

·         Enthusiastic and positive attitude

·         Good communication skills

·         At least one-year relevant experience in a similar role OR a NZQF level 1 or 2 qualification is required.

·         Driver’s license required as must travel to different sites

·         Loves to contribute to a team environment

·         Must have flexibility on working during nights, on weekends and public holidays

·         You must also pass a drug test and have a clear criminal record (if required)

·         Applicant must be physically fit as need to operate different cleaning machines.
