Yi Cart Asian Supermarket is seeking two experienced Seafood Processing Supervisors to join our in-house seafood department. Our supermarket operates its own seafood shop and receives fresh seafood deliveries regularly. This role is responsible for ensuring all seafood is processed promptly, safely, and to a high-quality standard.

 

Ideal candidates must have the followings:

2 years work experience in supermarket or food processing or a level 4 or above relevant qualification

Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime.

Must be flexible to work early-morning and late-night shifts.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise the receiving, inspection, and timely processing of fresh seafood deliveries

Oversee daily seafood processing operations, including cleaning, grading, cutting, packaging, and storage

Ensure all seafood handling and processing meets food safety and hygiene standards

Lead, train, and supervise seafood processing staff to maintain efficiency and quality

Monitor stock levels and minimise waste and spoilage

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised processing area

Communicate with management regarding operational issues and improvement
