Financial Adviser (Insurance) Auckland New Zealand

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Provide clients with professional advice on life, health, and other personal risk insurance products.

  • Assist clients in achieving their objectives and meeting their personal risk insurance needs by making appropriate recommendations.

  • Complete insurance applications in consultation with clients and manage the entire process from submission to policy issuance.

  • Communicate with insurance companies to facilitate and expedite application processing.

  • Maintain long-term, effective relationships with clients and conduct regular reviews of existing insurance policies to identify gaps and provide suitable solutions.

  • Provide advice and assistance on residential property lending, including assessing clients’ financial positions, recommending suitable home loan options, preparing and submitting loan applications, liaising with lenders, and managing the process through to loan approval and settlement.

Requirements to succeed with the application:

Must be certified (passed and completed) the Level Five New Zealand Certificate in
NZ Certificate in Financial Services in Life, Disability and Health Insurance and Residential Property Lending.

Clerical experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

The Level 5 certificate is a must.

Competitive and hungry for success.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills.

Experience with Microsoft products with good typing speed.

 

What will you get:

You will be supported with training and on-going mentoring. A compliance team to
support you in your journey to the industry. The remuneration package will include a
base salary of $55,000 plus a very competitive incentive and commission structure.

A minimum of 30 hours a week will be mandatory with a maximum of 40 hours per week, however the job may require working after business hours including weekend when the clients are available.
