About the Role:
Location: Auckland
Minimum guaranteed hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Hourly rate: $36.50 - $46.50 per hour
Terms: Fulltime, Permanent
This role involves professional management and growth of a profitable client base on behalf of the company and as part of the team based in Auckland. Reporting through to the Branch Manager, and working closely with your partnered Client Assistant, the Client Manager will provide service excellence, sound advice, and pro-active promotion of our products and services to existing and prospective clients.
Key accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide accurate and timely advice to clients that may be of a technical nature relating to products and services including Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning among others
- Manage end-to-end service delivery for our Customers and completing tasks such as Estate management, drafting Wills & Enduring Powers of Attorney, management of the ongoing day to day administration and compliance of Trusts and Agencies
- Reading and understanding of financial statements
- Achieve revenue and operating profit target
- Identify and develop opportunities to generate additional new business and revenue
- Coach and mentor team members to promote development and growth
- Achieve the sustainable growth of the business in a compliant environment
- Preparing monthly reports and providing these to the Branch Manager recording business opportunities, targets and business transactions / sales
About You:
The right candidate for the role will have:
- A solid track record demonstrating your ability to embrace problem solving, a high degree of emotional intelligence and enjoy working with a collaborative team who take pride in assisting and providing bespoke services to their Clients
- Enjoy building relationships with a wide range of clientele and have some understanding, interest and passion in Estate Planning or Financial Services
- Always exercises sound judgement
- Adaptable, innovative and possesses a growth mind set
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise
- Enthusiastic and determined to succeed and grow business revenues
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least 2 years of relationship/account management experience in a professional services environment
- Trustee industry or related experience essential. This could relate to law firms and legal work, which would give a base introductory level to the role
- A STEP qualification (a worldwide fiduciary certificate), legal and estates experience highly preferred
- Sales experience in financial services industry preferred, but not essential. An Applicant with a background in banking would be considered.
- Bachelor Degree level education required, preferably in finance / commerce or law degree is desirable
- A basic level of investment concepts, understanding of time charging and client billing
- Strong customer service ethic and attitude
- Acts on opportunities identified through client relationship and demonstrates full understanding of individual client needs.
