GLOW BEAUTY STUDIO is looking for a Beautician to join the team.

The Perfect candidate will be responsible for providing services, learning and recommending new techniques as required, applying industry knowledge, and providing excellent customer service daily.

The pay rate will be $30.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on Skills and  Work Experience.

Location: Mangere, Auckland

Job type: Full-time – 30 hours per week, based on a rotating Roster

Duration: Permanent

The job duties associated with this role are as follows:

·          Client Consultation & Skin Analysis

·          Conduct skin assessments and consultations to recommend suitable treatments.

·          Provide personalised skincare and beauty treatment plans based on client needs.

·          Maintain detailed client records and treatment history.

·          Facial and Skin Treatments

·          Perform advanced skin treatments, including Aqua Peel Hydra Facials, LED therapy, and Ultraformer III skin tightening.

·          Provide deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, and hydrating treatments.

·          Assist in post-treatment skincare advice and home-care product recommendations.

·          Cosmetic and Beauty Procedures

·          Perform lash and brow treatments, including shaping, tinting, and extensions.

·          Conduct waxing, threading, and hair removal treatments.

·          Offer professional makeup services for special occasions.

·          Body & Relaxation Treatments

·          Provide body massages, body wraps, and exfoliation treatments.

·          Administer hydrating and firming body therapies tailored to client concerns.

·          Customer Service & Sales

·          Ensure clients receive a premium and relaxing experience during treatments.

·          Educate clients on skincare routines, aftercare, and recommended products.

·          Promote and upsell clinic services, skincare products, and beauty packages.

·          Clinic Hygiene & Equipment Management

·          Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-organized treatment room.

·          Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.

·          Handle and maintain beauty therapy equipment according to clinic standards.

·          Collaboration & Professional Development

·          Work closely with cosmetic professionals for integrated treatment plans.

·          Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in beauty therapy.

·          Attend ongoing training and professional development sessions

What we expect:

·          Minimum 2 – 3 Years of Relevant Experience Required however NZQF Level 4 Qualification can substitute the requirement of Work Experience

·          Time Management skills with a Professional approach

·          Able to work across split shifts

·          Able to work on weekends and public holidays

·          Able to stand for long hours as a nature of the job and must be physically fit.

·          Must not have any criminal conviction
