We are seeking experienced Concrete Workers to join our Transport and Infrastructure team in Auckland. This role supports footpath, pavement and road renewal projects and involves concrete preparation, placement and finishing across multiple worksites. You will work as part of a skilled crew delivering high-quality civil construction outcomes while maintaining strong safety standards.
About the Role
We are seeking skilled Concrete Workers to join our Transport and Infrastructure division, supporting footpath, pavement and road renewal projects across the Auckland region. This is a hands-on role involving preparation, placement and finishing of concrete, along with general civil construction activities. You will work as part of a self-delivery crew to complete daily tasks safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with site set-up and preparation for concrete works

Install formwork and frameworks for concrete pours

Place, screed and finish concrete, including exposed finishes

Use hand tools, small plant and materials efficiently

Maintain safe working practices and comply with all HSE requirements

Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members

Complete assigned tasks within required timeframes

Work occasional weekends or on-call shifts as required
Essential Skills and Experience

Full Class 1 New Zealand driver licence

Proven experience in concrete placement and finishing

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Physically fit and capable of manual labour

Strong reliability, punctuality and teamwork

Commitment to safe operating procedures
Desirable Skills

Experience in footpath, road or civil construction projects

Ability to operate small plant or machinery

Understanding of site sequencing and work instructions

Positive attitude with willingness to learn and upskill
