We are seeking experienced Class 5 Driver Operators to support road maintenance and construction projects across the Auckland region. Based from the Penrose depot, this role involves operating heavy vehicles, supporting civil works and assisting site crews to deliver safe and efficient outcomes across transport infrastructure projects.

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and experienced Class 5 Driver Operators to join our Transport and Infrastructure division supporting road maintenance and construction activities across Auckland. Based out of the Penrose depot, the role includes operating heavy vehicles and supporting on-site construction and maintenance works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Class 5 vehicles safely and efficiently

  • Support road construction and maintenance activities

  • Operate additional plant where licensed and competent

  • Assist with general labouring and hand tool use

  • Follow all site safety and operational procedures

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew

Essential Requirements

  • Full Class 5 New Zealand driver licence

  • Strong reliability and work ethic

  • Commitment to safe work practices

  • Physically fit and capable of manual tasks

Desirable

  • WTR endorsements

  • Civil construction driving experience

  • Ability to operate multiple plant types
