LWC is looking for a full-time Loader Operator with at least one year of relevant experience. The candidate must possess the knowledge along with the confidence to engage and professionally interact with other staff and subcontractors, to safely execute their work duties in accordance with the Project Manager’s instruction. Our head office is located at 26 Redwood drive, Massey, Auckland. Wages are between $36.35 to $38 per hour, full time permanent with guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. The location of the job is in Auckland.

To qualify for the position, you must have at least 1 year of related experience, Site Safe Training and with current WTR license. You must be reliable and punctual with physical strength and ability to work extended hours when required along with demonstrated experience operating machinery of this size. A candidate who can trouble shoot and repair loader/machine is necessary and a plus factor for the position but not mandatory.

Job Description:

·       Operate loader to transfer or load materials/soil/rocks from stockpiles to trucks safely and efficiently throughout the site.

·       Prepare and position the machine for operation

·       Keep an eye on the plant’s performance, modifying controls to manage pressure, speed, and flow, and guaranteeing the safety of other employees

·       Maintaining, lubricating, cleaning and refueling the plant and making small modifications and repairs if needed

·       Controls and inspects the top of the crane for correct operation, reports to the Foreman in case of damage to crane equipment, kinks, rope fraying etc. undertakes lifts for maintenance personal as instructed·
