We are  seeking for Concreters (Commercial)

Job Descriptions:

• Formwork.

• Formwork Bracing.

• Polythene Moisture Barrier.

• Polystyrene Pods.

• Installation & Tying of Steel Reinforcing Mesh and Rod. 

• Stripping of Formwork.

• Set out anchor bolts, inserts, and other embedded components.

• Pour, spread, screed, compact, and finish concrete manually or using tools.

• Operate concrete vibrators, power trowels, screeding machines, and finishing tools.

• Shape, smooth, brush, edge, groove, and seal concrete to required finish and tolerance.

 • Monitor concrete during curing and apply curing techniques as required.

• Carry out specialised tasks (if applicable): concrete cutting, drilling, grinding, or spraying (shotcrete).

• Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.

• Comply with health and safety regulations and site procedures.

• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

At least 3 years of specific experience in Steel Fixing and or Concreting.

Physically Fit

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as  well as in a team.

 

This is a full time and permanent position.  Work up to 50 hours per week with minimum guaranteed 35 hours per week. Monday through Saturday, between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm. Pay rates from $27 to $30 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
