Looking for an experienced Retail Supervisor for our Bust store in Auckland

We are one of supplying parties’ accessories and party costumes throughout New Zealand. We are looking professional candidate who can demonstrate excellent leadership and sales skills and who is wanting to grow their career within the parties’ supplies /retail industry.

 

  • Assisting store manager organizing staff rosters
  • Responsible for opening and closing store
  • Supervising and assisting training staff to achieve sales targets
  • Planning and implementing store display and promotions
  • Maintaining records of stock levels and reordering stocks from warehouse
  • Assisting order stock from suppliers  and check it is in good condition and accurately invoiced when it arrives
  • Maintaining daily sales record for the store
  • Oversee staff, distribute, delegate duties to them and assist to evaluate their performance
  • Conduct customer survey and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Attending company meetings every fortnightly
  • Helps customers by providing information; answering questions; completing payment transactions
  • Understanding the customer and making a strategic decision so as to retain the customer and make a profitable deal.
  • Communicate with Head Office, Warehouse and other stores regarding any issues
  • Take responsibilities as store manager when the manager is absent from work.

 

Ideally, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate;

Previous relevant work experience or Relevant qualification in business

Must have experience in hiring, training and technology based stock ordering.
Strong interest or knowledge of the retail and/or party supply industry.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced skills in using excel and power point
Demonstrate ability to manage relationships with our internal staff, suppliers and other related parties
Demonstrate pride, commitment, passion and dedication for your work and subsequent results
