Pay Rate: $24.00 – $24.50 per hour
Eeden Valley Foods Limited is seeking a reliable and motivated Food Packer to join our
team in Auckland. This is a full-time role supporting our packing operations across multiple
product lines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Packing Lines
 Transfer raw materials and packaging supplies from the warehouse to packing rooms
as per the packing plan.
 Place the correct number of pouches/pillow packs into outer cartons.
 Apply pre-printed labels to pillow packs.
 Run outer cartons through the carton taping machine and stack taped cartons onto
pallets.
 Shrink-wrap pallets and transfer them to the warehouse area.
 Maintain accurate packing records and calculate raw and packaging material
wastage.
Anhydrous Milk Fat (AMF) – Filling Line
 Transfer pails and outer cartons to the packing room.
 Adjust and fill AMF volumes according to the packing plan.
 Place lids on pails and run them through the lid-pressing machine.
 Pack pails into outer cartons and stack cartons onto pallets.
 Shrink-wrap pallets and move them to the storage area.
 Maintain process records.
 Perform any additional tasks assigned by senior team members.
 Follow standard operating procedures for packing and filling lines and report
abnormalities promptly.
 Check and maintain cleanliness of machines and equipment.
Position Requirements
 12 months of similar experience preferred, but not essential.
 Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
 Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
 Physically able to bend, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
 Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
 Commitment to Health & Safety requirements.
 Ability to maintain quality standards in line with HACCP / NP3 guidelines.
 Availability to work weekends, as the facility may operate seven days a week.
