We are seeking an experienced exterior plasterers to join our growing team. This full-time role will be based in Wellington, and will involve applying high-quality plasterer finishes to the exterior of residential and commercial buildings 

What you will be doing :  

  • Examine and determine plasterboard layouts 

  • Measure, mark and cut plasterboards accurately 

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and applying primers as needed 

  • Identify and communicate material requirements in advance 

  • Prepare and repair surfaces, including gib stopping, skimming, and patching 

  • Achieve smooth, quality, paint-ready finishes with attention to detail. 

  • Mixing and applying specialty plaster products, such as textured and decorative finishes 

  • Installation of panels 

  • Maintain tools and ensure safe handling of materials. 

  • Follow and enforce company health and safety policies and procedures. 

  • Use PPE and safety equipment correctly and consistently. 

  • Identify and report hazards and incidents immediately. 

 

What we're looking for: 

  • - At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry or a similar role, OR must have learnt the skills by completing a Level 4 certificate 

  • - The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and police check. 

  • - A positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors. 

  • Physically fit and capable of manual work 

 

The successful canditate must be NZ Citizen/Resident or hold valid work rights
