JW LANDSCAPE LIMITED is a quality, locally owned Landscape Construction company based in Auckland. We deliver high-end residential outdoor projects across the Auckland region.

 

The role

We are looking for an experienced Garden / Landscape Carpenter to join our team. This is a hands-on, site-based role focusing on deck and fence construction, with some soft landscaping support work.

Key duties include:

  • Constructing and installing decks (subframe, decking boards, trims and finishing)

  • Constructing and installing fences and gates (posts, rails, palings/panels, gate hardware)

  • Outdoor carpentry tasks such as steps, edging, and general timber works as required

  • Supporting project completion with planting and lawn installation (seed or turf) and site finishing

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

    • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in residential outdoor carpentry (deck/fence/gate)

    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

    • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

    • Good communication skills and a professional manner on client sites

    • A valid, legal driver licence (required)

  • We work throughout the Auckland Region across multiple residential sites, so reliable transport is essential
