We have an exciting opportunity in our Team! The role is based in TePuke and we are seeking two Assistant Managers to manage a team of workers assigned to each Assistant Managers. 

This role involves being responsible for orchards “year-round” canopy work operations under the guidance and supervision of an Orchard Manager. It requires the applicant to manage a team of workers, train them and be in charge of the recruitment and work output

While orchard supervisory experience, managing budgeted costs and client management is desirable – we would prefer applicants who demonstrate enthusiasm, a great attitude and passion to join our team!

You will also need:

Good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude. Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Ability to manage the team of workers in the field and train where required Good initiative to work unsupervised at times.

You are required to have a High school qualification or a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.

The ability to work flexible and sometimes long hours including weekends. The Minimum pay rate is $25 an hour and the maximum is $27 an hour. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 32 hours a week.
