Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain,
and optimize KAD Travel’s database systems. This role is critical in ensuring data
availability, security, performance, and reliability to support daily operations, reporting, and
future system expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, manage, and maintain enterprise-level databases (e.g. MySQL,
    Oracle)
  • Monitor database performance, conduct tuning, and ensure high availability and stability
  • Design and implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with company policies
  • Support application teams with database design, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Manage database upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal business impact
  • Develop and maintain database documentation, standards, and best practices
  • Assist in building data platforms to support reporting, analytics, and business
    intelligence

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields 
  • 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL and/or Oracle database administration
  • Proficiency in SQL, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with database security, permissions, and data integrity management
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, or business platforms is a plus
  • Experience with cloud databases or distributed systems is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills in English and Chinese preferred
