Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland-based company and become a part of a great team.

HERO INTERNATIONAL LTD seeks painters. 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.
  • Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures, etc.
  • Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
  • Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster).
  • Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture.
  • Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
    Apply varnish and other finishes.
  • Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions.


Suitable candidates should have:

·         At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the same field or a relevant NZQF level 4 qualification or above, may substitute for the work experience.

·        Having good knowledge of Health and Safety Requirements.

·        Be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests should need to be.

·         Be physically fit.
