• Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed. 
  • Employee housing is provided on-site, and applicants must reside in the farm accommodation. No drive-in options available.
  • Accommodation may be shared or private, depending on availability at the time of successful placement. No pets allowed.

Applicants must have the following as per employer’s requirement: 

  • Applicants must be physically fit and willing to learn.
  • Applicants must pass pre-employment drug test and have no criminal record.
  • Applicants are not required to have experience in the dairy shed, or with pasture-based farming as this is an entry level role and the employer is willing to provide necessary training.
  • Must have a driver licence

Key Responsibilities: 

Animal Management 

  • Daily care and monitoring of young stock and dry stock
  • Feeding, shifting, and grazing stock according to farm plans
  • Identifying and reporting animal health or welfare issues
  • Assisting with animal health tasks such as drenching, weighing, vaccinating, and
    tagging
  • Supporting calving, weaning, and seasonal stock movements as required

Farm Operations:

  • Fence checking, repairs, and general farm maintenance
  • Operating farm vehicles, motorbikes, and basic machinery safely
  • Maintaining clean and orderly yards, paddocks, and facilities
  • Assisting with pasture management and feed allocation

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Following all health and safety policies and procedures
  • Reporting hazards, incidents, or near misses
  • Working in a safe manner at all times to protect yourself and others

Teamwork & Communication 

  • Working effectively with farm managers and other staff
  • Following instructions and contributing positively to the team
  • Taking responsibility for allocated tasks and daily routines
