Veterinarian

Primary Objectives:
To ensure the efficient and effective operation of all aspects pertaining to the business in sales and support within Dairy Veterinary Services

• Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed. 

Applicants must have:

• Tertiary education;and/or
• At least 2 years of relevant experience

Applicants must have the following as per employer’s requirement:

• Must be physically fit
• Must pass pre-employment drug test
• Must provide a CV Must provide verifiable references of previous
  employment history
• Must have a driver licence
• The primary work location is Canterbury; however, the employee
  may occasionally be required to travel to other locations.

Day to Day duties to include but not limited to:

• Attending to farm calls as directed
• Providing veterinary advice via telephone/email or in person
• Follow up of cases seen
• Acting professionally and conscientiously at all times to uphold the high standard of dairy veterinary service given to our dairy clients
• Accurate invoicing of all calls
• Carry out after hours calls as required
