Position Title: Fruit Production Supervisor
Number of Positions: 5
Location: Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
Pay Rate: $28 – $34 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience OR Level 4 qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily orchard and fruit production activities.
- Monitor plant health, crop growth, and productivity.
- Ensure correct irrigation, fertilisation, and pest/disease control practices.
- Allocate tasks and manage orchard workers and seasonal staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Train workers in safe work practices and horticultural techniques.
- Plan and implement seasonal work programs such as pruning and harvesting.
- Maintain production records and operational reports.
- Oversee use and maintenance of orchard tools and machinery.
- Liaise with management on production targets and operational issues.
