Tutor

The purpose of this role is to provide after-school training to children with a variety of our courses on offer, including HSK Level 4-6 exam preparation camp, Chinese painting classes, reading class, advanced math class, science, arts and Chinese painting and calligraphy.

Our classes also cover holiday classes and cloud classroom delivery.

Day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:

• Prepare and plan programs and classes for N Cubes students
• Ensure tidiness and health & safety of the classroom prior and after each class
• Deliver classes for N Cubes students covering theory and practical aspects of the subject area
• Assess the progress and performance of students, present and communicate with parents with reports regularly
• Review and improve curricula, course content and teaching methods
• Prepare student for examinations, performance and assessments
• Attend continuous development and training sessions
• Follow and comply with requirement of Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Student if required
• Always put health and safety first

To be qualified for this role, you need to demonstrate:

• Three to five years of experience in education or teaching industry, or having a tertiary qualification, at degree level or above preferred
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese preferred
• Satisfactory level of knowledge on all or some of the class types N Cubes offers
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with both students and parents
• Patience, passion and empathy for supporting children's educational development
• Computer literacy and ability to utilise all the softwares required for classes
• Ability to work under pressure in a calm and professional manner
