Class 2,4,5 Drivers

Abduls Truck, Trailer & Vehicle Services is a well-established and recognized company situated in EAST TAMAKI and achieved reputation for excellence based on Honesty.We run a well- maintained fleet of Curtainsider, Tipper Trucks, Hiab and Truck & Trailer and specialize in providing safe & efficient transport and or logistic services for companies and organization across North Island. Our company continues to grow and as such we would like to recruit motivated Class 2,4 & 5 Drivers with minimum two years of work experience and Heavy Vehicle Licence. 

Position: Class 2,4,5 Drivers 

Job Location: Manukau, Auckland 

Number of Positions: 12 

Type: Permanent, Full time 

Days required: Rotating roster, including weekends 

Hours per week: 30 hours per week 

Hourly Pay: $30 to 35 per hour 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Transporting of General freight, fragile & DG freights and so forth. 

Complete routine reports and or paper works as necessary 

Managing your workload, achieve deadlines and work with urgency during busy period Loading, unloading freight manually and moving freight by hand and trolley jack. Tipping and Road Works 

The applicant we are looking for: 

1. Is fit and prepared for a physical role. 

2. Has forklift licence with an F endorsement and the forklift operators' certificate would be an added advantage. 

3. Must have proven work experience in driving tipper trucks, freight, hiab,curtain siders. The applicant should also have road works experience such as tipping and hot mix is a must 

4. Ability to drive truck with manual transmission box (Eaton 18 speed ZF) 

5. Is very energetic, reliable and has an exceptional work ethic 

6. Takes pride in their work and works to delivering excellent customer service 

7. Working all sorts of hours and be available to be working on weekends 

8. Must have good communication and numerical skills 

9. Can develop and work within systems 

10. Able to maintain a balance between personal and working life 

11. Outstanding customer engagement with the ability to multitask 

12. Prepares Run sheet/manifests along with all related necessary documentation 

13. The applicant will be required to pass a per-employment and drug and alcohol assessment/random.

You will need to maintain high standards of finishing and throughput of tasks, be able to pass a per-employment drug test and have a clean criminal history.
