Hynds are currently seeking a friendly and driven person with some sales experience to join our Internal Sales team in Palmerston North. You will be able to multi-task, have great phone manner and customer service skills.
Key responsibilities include:
• Responding to customer enquiries via email and phone
• Processing customer orders in a timely manner
• Providing internal sales support for the Account and Product Managers
• Supporting the sales team to provide customer quotes
• Assist in establishing product solutions
• Provide support for technical material as required
• Communicate with manufacturing and logistics about the delivery plan and any issues during the fulfilment phase Liaising closely with the manufacturing and logistics teams regarding delivery schedules
• Follow all health and safety requirements
What you will bring:
• Proven experience in an internal sales / pricing role
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated high levels of professionalism and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Ability to take direction and adapt easily to new situations
• You will be a motivated and confident self-starter with the ability to approach and engage with customers
• Strong commitment in following health and safety requirements
