Waikato-based | Office based with flexibility

Our client is a highly successful, privately owned Kiwi company proudly designing and producing products right here in the mighty Waikato—and exporting them to customers all around the world. Their brand is growing fast, and we’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Coordinator to help bring their marketing to life across digital channels, campaigns and customer touchpoints.

This is a part-time role, ideally spread over four days in the office. There’s optional flexibility to complete an extra 3 hours from home over the weekend if it suits (not essential).
This role would suit someone looking for school-hour-friendly work.

This is a varied, practical role where you’ll support the execution of the marketing activity and be a key connector between the internal team, agency partners, creators and customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Populating and maintaining the marketing calendar (campaigns, promotions, events, launches)
  • Coordinating sales and promotional activity across management, sales, operations and the ad agency
  • Coordinating events and promotions with distributors and resellers
  • Supplying the ad agency with images, graphics and content
  • Managing relationships with content creators (existing and new)
  • Creating and publishing organic (unpaid) content across all social channels
  • Generating and sending marketing emails and newsletters
  • Replying to social media comments, tags and DMs
  • Reviewing tags and resharing content where appropriate
  • Launching and growing the TikTok account
  • Requesting and managing Google reviews
  • Moderating and approving product reviews on the website
  • Relationship management and communication with resellers and distributors
  • Creating basic marketing collateral in Canva
  • Providing customer service support via email and live chat from time to time (cover required in March)

About You

You’re organised, proactive and enjoy juggling a mix of creative and coordination tasks. You don’t need to know everything—but you do need to be willing to learn and get stuck in.  Your communication and professionalism will impress as will your great attention to detail and ability to work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

Huge advantages if you have experience with:

  • Social media management (especially replying to comments, tags and DMs)
  • Canva and basic content creation
  • Photography (even at a basic level)
  • Email marketing platforms
  • TikTok
  • Ecommerce environments
  • Enjoys being part of a collaborative, down-to-earth Kiwi business

Why Join This Team?

  • Be part of a successful, growing global brand with strong Waikato roots
  • Flexible, family-friendly working arrangements
  • A role with variety, autonomy and real impact
  • Supportive team and long-term opportunity to grow with the business

If you’re looking for a flexible marketing role where you can make a real contribution—and work with a great bunch of people—we’d love to hear from you.
