Joiner Carpenters Wanted

 

Work Location: Auckland Region

Employment type: Full time (minimum 30 hours/per week, Monday to Saturday), Permanent role

Our pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour depending on skills and experience

 

 

 

We are now looking for 1 Joiner Carpenter to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company.

 

Tasks you may carry out:

 

·       Studying design plans and drawings to determine materials, dimensions and installation procedures

·       Built-in joinery fixing

·       Erecting wood panels and frames during installation and joinery fitting

·       Hardware installation

·       Selecting and matching materials for colour grain, or texture

·       Cutting, shaping and assembling wooden parts to construct frames for wardrobe, sliding door and cabinets

·       Installing cabinet & joinery in residential and commercial sites

·       Examine blue prints or drawing and plans sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed

 

To be successful you will need to:

 

  • Have at least 2 years solid relevant experience, or
  • Have a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification in joinery carpentry work or equivalent qualifications/certificates,
  • Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
  • Be physically fit and willingness to work hard
  • Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively
  • Have "can-do" attitude
