Kahlon06 Holdings Limited seeks Class 4 and Class 5 Truck Drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently across the Waikato region. The role ensures timely deliveries, compliance with transport regulations, and high service standards.

Position Title: Truck Driver (Class 4 & 5)
Number of Positions: 3
Location: Waikato Region, New Zealand
Pay Rate: $30 – $36 per hour 
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

 

Key Requirements

  • Valid New Zealand Class 4 or Class 5 or Equivalent Overseas driver’s licence
  • Minimum 1 year of experience OR Level 2 Qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Class 4 and Class 5 heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Transport goods to designated collection and delivery locations.
  • Load, secure, and unload freight in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation.
  • Comply with NZTA regulations, road rules, and company policies.
  • Adhere to work‑time and fatigue management requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and management teams.
  • Report vehicle faults, incidents, or delays promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles.
  • Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.
