We are currently seeking reliable and full-time Cabinetmakers to join our team. Starting pay offered from $27- $35 hourly will be fixed according to the skills and experience for 30-50 hours a week. However, this will be reviewed periodically. Any overtime will be paid as per above payrate. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including:

  • Read and interpret kitchen plans, blueprints, and design specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Fabricate custom cabinets, shelves, and other woodworking components using various tools and techniques.
  • Select and cut materials, such as wood, laminate, and hardware, to precise measurements and specifications.
  • Assemble and finish cabinets with attention to detail, ensuring smooth surfaces, tight joints, and proper alignment.
  • Install cabinets and fixtures in kitchens and other spaces according to layout plans and client preferences.
  • Collaborate with designers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure accurate installations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the manufacturing and installation process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop and job site, including proper storage and disposal of materials and waste.

 

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in cabinet making, home improvement installation, or a similar / transferable role. Alternatively, a relevant qualification.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings or occasional weekends depending on project needs.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines
  • Pre-employment drug test and police check required.
