As a Electrical Service Technician/ Electrician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment within client homes & facilities. Your role includes conducting regular maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, repairing and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

We are actively looking for a Electrical Service Technician/ Electrician, Full time role- 30 hours per week and pay starts from $34 per hour upto $40.

 

Our Ideal Candidate :

Relevant Electrical Experience in assisting with servicing of electrical products is an advantage.

Have a current registration as an Electrical Service Technician Trainee/Limited or EAS or a similar registration with EWRB is essential for this role. Supervison will be provided to the right candidate.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Mechanical ability to diagnose faults.

Good time management to adhere to appointment times.

Excellent communication skills to maintain strong relationships with clients

Valid driver's license

Flexible schedule and willingness to travel as required.

Job Description:

Service and repair mechanical & electrically operated low voltage equipment, i.e spa machines, hot pools, Swimming Pools, Pool Pumps and other specialist equipment in a variety of environments.

Should be comfortable in using electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults

Repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts in Spa Equipments 

Under supervision assist in positioning installing under water lights, pool pumps and electrical switchboards when needed

Maintenance and repairs of salt chlorinators Replace faulty heating elements for the electric heat pumps Manage parts and stock in work van provided.

Communicating with service coordinator about bookings and availability

Provide high level of service and communication with customers. Working in Kiwi Spa workshop and on site independently.

Technical proficiency in equipment operation and maintenance.

Knowledge of industry standards and commitment to compliance.

Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, conducting necessary repairs.

Participate in ongoing learning and certification programs as required.
