We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Cleaner to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis in Auckland. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across a range of commercial premises while following health, safety, and operational procedures. Guaranteed work for Min 30hrs - Max 40hrs per week.

Key Job Responsibilities: 

  • Clean and sanitise commercial premises, including offices, schools, and construction sites.

  • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, etc..

  • Remove rubbish and waste materials from designated areas and dispose of them appropriately.

  • Dust, polish, and disinfect furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.

  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to required standards.

  • Clean internal windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.

  • Maintain, store, and organise cleaning equipment and supplies.

  • Monitor stock levels and report low supplies to appropriate personnel.

  • Identify and report maintenance or repair issues to supervisors.

  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred

  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Physically fit and able to perform manual duties, including standing, bending, and lifting

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • No formal qualification required; relevant work experience will be useful

  • Training will be provided to fresh applicants

  • Willingness to work rostered hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays

  • Must have no criminal convictions

Must meet New Zealand employment eligibility requirements
