We are looking for a motivated Forklift Driver to join our busy warehouse located in Auckland. If you enjoy hands-on work, have great attention to detail, and want to be part of a friendly team, this role is perfect for you! This is a permanent full-time role.

 

You are expected to work between 30-50 hours per week. 30 hours are guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities

  • operating controls to align forklifts and raise and lower forks to stack and unstack items in warehouses, factories, timber yards and shipping terminals
  • operating forklifts which run on rails or use electronic guidance systems to control movements in narrow aisles
  • transporting goods to designated areas in warehouses
  • ensuring goods are stored in correct areas so that they can be easily located when orders are made up
  • monitoring equipment operation visually through gauges and instruments and through computerised monitoring equipment
  • inspecting and controlling equipment to identify wear and damage
  • servicing and performing repairs and adjustments to forklifts
  • may operate specialised trucks

Skills & Requirements

  • A forklift driver license

  • at least 3 year of warehousing, mechanical, engineering or any other experience.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods.

  • Basic computer skills for stock entry or scanning systems (training provided).

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
