Scot Thrust is looking for a skilled Drill Operator to support horizontal directional drilling work across a mix of civil and infrastructure projects. The role involves operating drilling equipment safely and efficiently, reading and working to plans, collaborating closely with a locator, and maintaining machinery to high standards.

Scot Thrust is looking for our next Drill Operator.
We use Vermeer Drills - 15x10 & 23x30 & 20x22

• Experienced in horizontal drilling and/or locating
• Be able to identify & locate underground services / utilities
• Operate and maintain drilling and locating equipment efficiently and safely
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and company policies
• Hold a current full NZ Drivers license - Class 1, Class 2 or above preferred
• Punctual and Reliable
• A good communicator and have the ability to work as part of a team
• Able to work unsupervised and have a strong work ethic
