Scot Thrust is seeking a skilled civil labourer to support drilling and civil works across Auckland. Tasks include trenching, spotting, operating power tools, site prep and clean-up, and assisting machine operators. Applicants should have proven civil experience, strong work ethic, physical fitness, and a commitment to safety. A full NZ driver licence and right to work in NZ required. The following duties are typical for this position:

Preparing the worksite for senior staff members
 Keeping the work area safe
 Knowledge of the excavator loading requirements; securing loads etc
 Handling and/or moving material
 Tidying at the end of the day
 Cleaning trucks and machinery when required
 Effectively communicate to all site personnel
 Daily visual checks and maintenance checks of equipment
 Identify, report and correct hazards
 Perform tasks maintaining all health, safety and environmental rules and ensure all work is done in a manner which enhances the safety of the work environment, i.e. Daily Risk & Hazard, Permit to Dig, Work pack initiators, Health & Safety Plans, Site Specific SQE Management plans etc.
