Essential Job Functions:
• Provision and maintenance of equipment i.e. vehicles, signs, cones and communication equipment.
• Obtain and have available necessary documentation i.e. Traffic Management Plans, Corridor Access Requests, Speed Restriction Authorizations (where required) for the duration of the job.
• Availability to work outside of normal work hours.
• Effectively communicate to all site personnel
• Identify, report and correct hazards.
• Perform tasks maintaining all health, safety and environmental rules and ensure all work is done in a manner which enhances the safety of the work environment etc.
• From time to time assist STL’s other departments where necessary.
• A firm understanding of NZ Traffic Management Guide and Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills i.e. complete project specific forms.
• Excellent organizational skills, able to multi-task.
• Punctual with good time keeping.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
• Team player, able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal.
