About you:

Successful candidates must be a NZ citizen or resident and have at least 3 years full-time sheetmetal relevant work experience on commercial or civil projects.

Duties include:

• create construction or installation diagrams
  review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements
  measure materials or objects for installation or assembly
  mark reference points on construction materials
  assemble products or production equipment
  weld metal components
  plan layout of construction, installation, or repairs
  smooth surfaces with abrasive materials or tools
  fabricate parts or components
  select construction materials

The ideal candidate will also have:

1.   Two contactable references.
2.  Been able to pass police check and drug test.

About the role:

-          Minimum 30 hours per week.

-          Hourly wage ranging from $28.00 - $35.00.

-          Permanent role – Monday to Friday, with extra shifts available on weekends.

-          As part of your employment, you may be required to travel to a different region for a different project, including, Auckland, Manawatū-Whanganui, Marlborough, Waikato, Wellington, Otago, Nelson, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Northland, West Coast, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Gisborne, Southland.

-        You will be given reasonable notice if you are required to relocate to another region. Franklin Smith will cover transportation and accommodation expenses related to the relocation.
