Due to steady business growth across Auckland, we are now seeking 2 skilled Landscaping Carpenters with garden-building experience to join our reliable and hardworking team.

 

We are offering you:

 

Location: Auckland

Full-time work: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays when required

Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week

During peak season, skilled workers may be scheduled up to 60 hours per week, depending on workload and performance

Competitive hourly rate: $26–$32, depending on experience

Main duties of the Landscaping Carpenter:

 

Construct and install fencing, decking, retaining walls, pergolas, gates, stairs, and other garden structures

Perform timber measuring, cutting, assembly, and on-site installation

Build timber platforms, boundary frames, and custom outdoor features

Assist with layout preparation, site levelling, post setting, and structural framing

Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently

Maintain high workmanship quality and compliance with safety standards

 

Requirements for the Landscaping Carpenter:

 

Minimum 2 years’ experience in carpentry or landscaping construction

Skilled in fencing, decking, retaining walls, pergolas, and similar timber work

Able to measure, cut, assemble, and install timber accurately

Fit for outdoor physical work

Reliable, hardworking, and able to work with minimal supervision
