We are seeking multiple skilled Forklift Driver to support our logistics and freight operations. This role is critical to the safe and efficient handling, movement, and storage of freight within our warehouse and distribution environment. The position involves operating forklifts to load and unload vehicles, manage palletised freight, and support dispatch and receiving functions.

This role requires a high level of operational competence, safety awareness, and experience in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, stack and organise freight

  • Load and unload trucks and containers accurately and efficiently

  • Transport goods within the warehouse and yard areas

  • Conduct daily pre-start equipment checks and report maintenance issues

  • Pick, pack, and stage freight for dispatch

  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures

  • Maintain accurate handling of goods to avoid damage or loss

  • Assist with general warehousing and logistics duties as required

 

IMPORTANT:

Applicants must meet the below:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Forklift Driver or in closely related warehousing/logistics roles

  • A current forklift license, OR endorsement on driver's license

  • Physical capability to perform manual handling duties

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

The role is 40 hours per week, full-time, located in Queenstown Lakes region.
