Job Requirements

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant supermarket industry experience

Education:

No qualification required but must have work experience

Job Description – Retail Supervisor  (Supermarket)

Supervising daily supermarket activities during allocated shifts to ensure efficient store operations

Leading and supporting staff on duty, including assigning tasks and monitoring work performance

Providing customer service support and resolving routine customer enquiries and complaints

Assisting with cash handling, checkout supervision, and daily cash reconciliation

Monitoring stock availability, replenishment, and product presentation standards

Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety and food safety requirements

Assisting with staff training and onboarding during shifts

Implementing store procedures and instructions from management

Reporting shift outcomes, incidents, and operational issues to store management
