Truck Drivers (Class 2, 4 & 5)

Tasks Include/Job Responsibility:

·         loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices

·         observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles

·         making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely

·         ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage

·         verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries

·         Follow customer site requirements

·         Have customer service skills and be able to communicate with customers, staff and management

·         Be able to complete all admin tasks - filling in your timesheets and logbook.

·         We will offer making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage

ABILITY:

·         Be able to stay away from home in truck for few nights when required.

·         Must work on weekends

·         Be able to drive both auto and manual transmission including road ranger.

·         Should not hesitate to work early morning shifts and night shifts.

·         Excellent Health & Safety awareness.

·        the applicant may require driving different parts of New Zealand.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

·         Level 2 or 3 qualification or at least one year of relevant experience.

·         Registration or licensing is required.

·         Pass a background check

·         Be physically fit

·         Clean Class 2, 4 or above driver license

·         Able to pass initial and ongoing Drug tests
