Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager Needed
Skills & Experience Required

1-2 years' proven experience, preferably in grocery, fresh produce, or food retail

Good understanding of fresh produce handling and stock rotation
-
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
-
Strong customer service and communication skills
-
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations & Daily Management
-
Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
-
Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, well presented, and rotated according to freshness standards
-
Monitor product quality and reduce spoilage and waste
-
Ensure the store operates efficiently and meets sales and performance targets
2. Staff Management & Supervision
-
Recruit, train, roster, and supervise store staff
-
Allocate daily tasks and monitor staff performance
-
Ensure adequate staffing levels during peak trading hours
-
Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to staff
3. Inventory & Stock Control
-
Manage ordering, receiving, and storage of fresh produce
-
Liaise with suppliers and wholesalers
-
Monitor stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and maintain accurate inventory records
-
Minimise stock loss, wastage, and shrinkage
4. Customer Service
-
Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times
-
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
-
Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organised retail environment
5. Health, Safety & Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements

Implement and monitor cleaning schedules and food handling procedures
-
Ensure all staff follow store policies and procedures
6. Financial & Reporting Duties
-
Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and EFTPOS transactions
-
Assist with basic reporting, budgeting, and cost control
-
Support the business owner with operational and performance reporting
