Position Title: Fruit Production Supervisor
Number of Positions: 2
Location: Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
Pay Rate: $28 – $34 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

 

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience or Level 4 Qualification

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily orchard operations and seasonal tasks.
  • Monitor plant health, irrigation, and pest/disease control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company protocols.
  • Train and guide orchard workers on best horticultural practices.
  • Plan and implement work programs for pruning, thinning, and harvesting.
  • Maintain accurate records of crop performance and operational activities.
  • Liaise with management to report progress and resolve operational issues.
  • Oversee use and maintenance of orchard machinery and equipment.
  • Manage workforce scheduling and task allocation for efficiency.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure high crop standards.
