Join a growing company as an Electrical Linesworker. The role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical power distribution and transmission systems.
This role involves working at heights, operating specialized equipment, and eunsuring safe, reliable delivery of electrical power to customers while complying with safety and industry standards.
Duties include:
- Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground power lines, cables, transformers, switches and related equipment

Climb utility poles and work from elevated platforms, bucket trucks, or towers

String, splice, tension, and secure conductors and cables

Inspect electrical lines and equipment to identify faults, damage, or wear

Respond to emergency outages and perform storm restoration work as required

Operate and maintain tools, vehicles, and heavy equipment safely

Follow electrical codes, safety procedures, and company policies at all times

Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and dispatch

Complete work orders, safety reports, and maintenance documentation

Ensure work sites are safe for crew members and the public
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience or relevant level 4 qualification
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strict adherence to safety
- Use of appropriate PPE at all times
- Participation in Safety Training and certifications (e.g. working at heights)
On Offer:
- Full time work, Weekly pay
- Pay Rate: $26 - $32 per hour
- Minimum of 30 hours per week, may be occasional weekend work
- Kiwisaver Contribution
