As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of mechanical and automotive servicing tasks across passenger vehicles, SUVs, vans, and light commercial vehicles. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well in a team environment, and can operate efficiently in a fast-paced workshop.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

  • Carry out general mechanical servicing and repairs
  • Brake inspections, repairs, and replacements
  • Wheel alignments, suspension checks, and steering components
  • Tyre inspections and fitment (where required)
  • Battery diagnostics, replacement, and testing
  • Vehicle inspections and fault diagnosis
  • Ensure all work is completed to safety and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a motor mechanic
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Full NZ driver’s licence preferred
