We are seeking an experienced and skilled Tailor with expertise in Indian and Punjabi traditional attire, to join our team. This role involves creating, altering, and tailoring high-quality garments such as lehengas, saree blouses, salwar kameez, sherwanis, and kids outfits, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Full Time role- Minimum 30 to 40 hours per week, Pay starts from $28.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities

Take accurate measurements and consult with clients to understand garment requirements and design preferences.

Design, cut, stitch, alter, and tailor Indian and Punjabi garments, including kids wear and ceremonial wear.

Perform fittings and make precise adjustments to ensure perfect fit and finish.

Work with a variety of fabrics, embroidery, linings, and embellishments specific to traditional and bridal garments.

Carry out garment alterations and repairs, including resizing, hemming, and restyling.

Maintain sewing machines, tools, and work areas in safe and orderly condition.

Ensure all garments meet high quality, presentation, and delivery standards.

Manage orders efficiently and meet agreed timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant qualification in tailoring or garment construction is preferred but not essential.

Alternatively, a minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant work experience in specialist tailoring may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Strong skills in garment construction, pattern interpretation, and precision stitching.

Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple orders.
