Description

Looking for multiple plumbers who have a good attitude towards work and great references. You will be completing various duties including preparation, fabrication and installation of pipe for HVAC and plumbing services. The successful candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience.

About you:

The ideal candidate are expected to:

-          Interpret blueprints/drawings and lay out accurately

-          Drill and install metal bolts and brackets for services including hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines

-          Check and fabricate metal parts accurately according to plans

-          Cut, thread, bend insulating and install pipes

-          Install water-based fire protections systems, including fire hydrants, hose reels and sprinkler systems

-          Install, maintain and repair piping, ducting and equipment for heating, cooling and ventilation of buildings or vessels

-          Have sound English communication skills

The ideal candidate will also:

-          Have two contactable references

-          Be able to pass a police check and drug test

About the role:

-          Minimum 30 hours of work per week

-          Hourly wage ranging from $27.50  - $35.00

-          Permanent role – Monday to Friday, with extra shifts available on weekends

-          We have opportunities across various locations in New Zealand. As part of your employment, you may be required to travel to a different region within New Zealand for different projects, including Auckland, Manawatū-Whanganui, Marlborough, Waikato, Wellington, Otago, Nelson, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Northland, West Coast, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Gisborne, Southland.

-          You will be given reasonable notice if you are required to relocate to another region. Franklin Smith will cover transportation and accommodation expenses related to the relocation.
