The Role
You’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding the client base across Auckland. This is a strategic, relationship-led sales role, combining hunting new opportunities with developing existing accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and executing new business strategies to grow market share
• Identifying and converting high-value opportunities across customers in transport & logistics, FMCG, retail, manufacturing, and related sectors
• Building trusted, multi-level, long-term relationships with key decision-makers
• Preparing and presenting professional tenders and proposals
• Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Acting as a trusted advisor, offering innovative and commercially sound packaging solutions

What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
• Proven success in business development and account management within packaging or a similar manufacturing market
• Experience presenting to, and working alongside, manufacturing and procurement teams
• Ideally, a strong network across Auckland businesses with significant packaging requirements
• Confidence engaging at multiple levels, including senior and board level, influencing high-value purchasing decisions
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Patience and tenacity to work within long sales cycles
• Strong organization and time management skills, able to juggle multiple opportunities while staying on top of day-to-day account management, where administration skills and accuracy will be crucial
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with high levels of initiative
• Professionalism, integrity, and credibility in everything you do
• A great sense of humour, down-to-earth attitude, and a genuinely positive disposition
