Thai Massage Therapist

Requirements:

Successful applicants will either need to have:

• At least 2 years of experience working as a massage therapist, OR

• A certificate in Massage Therapy.

Applicants for this position must also have NZ citizenship/residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet clients in a manner required for a professional business.

• Provide professional therapeutic massage services based on what is offered by Eden Thai Massage and Spa. These services aim to:

• Provide pain relief for aching muscles
• Improve circulation
• Relieve tension and stress
• Prevent injury
• Provide relaxation for the mind and body

• Utilise a range of Thai massage techniques and appropriate complementary aids on clients.

• Assess clients' past and present physical conditions, and apply the appropriate treatments to improve their condition.

• Clean the treatment rooms and equipment after each session in preparation for the next client.

• Perform general cleaning of premises and do laundry duties on a daily basis to ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained.

• Ensure that sheets, towels and other linen are clean and fresh for each client.

Other Details

• This is a full-time and permanent position.

• The wage is between $28 and $32 per hour, depending on your skills and work experience.

• Your place of employment will be at one of our two branches, depending on your roster: 239 Dominion Road, Mount Eden, Auckland and 519 New North Road, Kingsland, Auckland.

• You will work according to a roster of 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours.

• You will be required to work on weekend as these are the busiest days for the business.

• You will be entitled to holiday pay and sick leave in accordance with the law.
