We have an exciting opportunity for Store Manager in Hamilton. We are looking someone for a confident, responsible person with a high attention for detail. You will be required to work for minimum 30 hours to maximum 35 hours between Monday to Thursday (from 10AM to 5PM), Saturday & Sunday (from 10AM to 5PM).

 

Key responsibilities

 

Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with shoppers in a friendly, informed, and professional manner, assisting with product selection based on customer preferences.

Maintain a clean and well-organized store environment

·        Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain visually appealing product displays and promotional setups to boost customer interest and sales.

·        To manage the business accordance to budget.

·        Resolve customer complaints, including roster and health and safety.

·        Supervisor junior staff, delegate duties to them and routinely evaluate their performance.

·        Oversee daily store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

·        Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and wholesalers across New Zealand.

·        Monitor sales performance, analyse trends and implement strategies to drive growth.

·        Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance for senior management.

 

Key requirements

 

Should have at least 2 years of industry work experience or Level 5 Diploma or higher qualification in Communication

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people management skills

A proactive approach, motivation to achieve and improve continuously

Clean criminal record and Zero tolerance to drugs at workplace.

 

Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $30 -$40 per hour.
