DNS Maintenance Limited is a building and maintenance company which had been incorporated in 2010.

Currently, we operate in Auckland, Hamilton, and Whangarei maintaining residential and commercial properties. This role will require you to be based in one of the noted branches and travel amongst the 3 branches will also be required. 

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week - This is a permanent role 

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, service, and replace locks and security systems

  • Cut, code, and duplicate keys

  • Respond to lockout situations and emergency call-outs

  • Install and maintain electronic and mechanical locking systems

  • Diagnose faults and provide effective security solutions

  • Maintain accurate job records and customer documentation

  • Comply with health and safety requirements at all times

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant locksmith experience (or equivalent)

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic locking systems

  • Ability to use locksmith tools and diagnostic equipment

  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications (Preferred but not essential)

  • Relevant trade qualification or equivalent industry experience

Additional Requirements

  • Clean criminal record (due to security-sensitive nature of work)
  • Vaild New Zealand Driver's Licence
  • Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
