DNS Maintenance Limited is a building and maintenance company which had been incorporated in 2010.

Currently, we operate in Auckland, Hamilton, and Whangarei maintaining residential and commercial properties. This role will require you to be based in one of the noted branches and travel amongst the 3 branches will also be required. 

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week - This is a permanent role

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials

  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications

  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install building components

  • Manufacture and install joinery items such as doors, windows, cabinetry, and fittings

  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

  • Ensure work meets quality standards and building codes

  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite in accordance with health and safety requirements

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum 2+ years’ relevant carpentry and/or joinery experience (or equivalent)

  • Sound knowledge of carpentry and joinery techniques and materials

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Physically fit and capable of manual work

Qualifications (Preferred but not essential)

  • Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Carpentry or Joinery) or equivalent practical experience

Additional Requirements

  • Vaild New Zealand Driver's Licence
  • Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
