Sahib Homes Limited is looking for an experienced and skilled Plasterer to join our team in New Plymouth. The role is full time permanent with minimum 32 hours a week. Maximum hours can be 40. We offer competitive pay rate between $34-$38 depending on your work experience. 

Your role will be: 

  • Plastering walls and ceiling to high standards. 
  • Prepare surface and material by removing old tiles and adhesive, mixing plaster and cement, and marking and cutting glass.
  • Measuring, marking and cutting plasterboard, lifting and positioning panels, and securing them to walls, ceilings and battens
  • Applying coats of plaster to structures.
  • Preparing surfaces for painting and applying paint finishes.
  • Collaborating with the construction team to ensure work is completed on time and to specification
  • spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, and setting tiles in position.

What we are looking for: 

  • We are looking for an applicant with hands on experience in the similar role for at least 2 years. 
  • Must be able to work individually and without suprevision. 
  • Must have knowldge of the equipments used for coating, mixture and plastering.
