We are currently seeking experienced Yard & Forklift Operators in Pokeno. This role will be accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery and stacking of concrete and related products.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and completing the daily task report for the forklift

• Operating the forklift around the manufacturing site

• Delivering products safely and efficiently

• Receiving inwards goods

• Cleaning of forklift as and when required

• Assisting with general yard duties and ad-hoc support of the other yard staff

• Following all health and safety requirements including daily pre-start checks on vehicles

What you will bring to Hynds:

• An F endorsed forklift license and current OSH Certificate

• 1-2 years recent forklift operating experience preferably within the civil construction, building or manufacturing industry

• Recent operating experience operating a large forklift (5 - 8 tonne) with lifting up to 25 tonne and use of counterbalance is advantageous

• Able to take direction and work calmly in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to relate well and work with a wide range of people

• Strong commitment to safety, health & environmental responsibilities

• Reliable with excellent personal time keeping skills

• A reasonable level of physical fitness
